I realized I've already popped my blogging cherry and I haven't even mentioned the most amazing week I just had. Shame on me. Where should I start? I flew into Newark on Tuesday afternoon, Jon and Heather picked me up. Jon was bald, Heather was tanned, so I didn't recognize either at first. Soon, the insanity started. I arrived at Jon, Lynn, and Hong's place to find everyone sprawled out everywhere, playing dr. mario (Lynn was kicking everyone's ass). Food was eaten, showers were taken, sneezes were expelled (thanks Mou), and we were off to chinatown. Bubble tea time. . . sidenote: bubble tea time should become a part of everyone's day, just a few minutes to enjoy the tapioca-fun-filled experience that is boba . . .karaoke was next and then the most intense mafia game i've ever been a part of. Watching one of the games was the most entertaining thing I had done pretty much all summer. . .until the next night. WEDNESDAY: JANET!! i'm still recovering, and the way i tell the story . . .i was the guy being ridden on stage, shh. . .THURSDAY: malaysian food is phenomenal. . . cheetah's afterwards (the club, not the windsor strip joint. . .) almost didn't get in, luckily I passed the pop test by over-the-hill bouncer. said hi to anthony mason at the bar later. . .he ignored me. . .nice. . .bartender was seriously cute, but she was too into Palak to notice anything else, haha. FRIDAY: hung out with my sister and her friends for her birthday, fun, but not as much fun as everyone else had at bar 16. especially james, he had a great time. . . free advice: wear shoes in the holland tunnel from now on if you didn't before. SATURDAY: BBQ, bonded with Lynn and PZ, who now understand my cynical opinion of relationships (to be discussed another time), amit's soiree. . . much fun was had. SUNDAY: flew home (boo) ALL THE OTHER DAYS SINCE: utter boredom. . . when can we do this again?
it's a sign from above. . . just hours after I mention that the internet at home doesn't work . . . here I am blogging from the comforts of my own boring home. I'm tired and I have to pack for school, but I figure I gotta take advantage of this. Being tired is a completely altered state of consciousness. It's worse than being drunk in terms of how incapacitated it makes you. Right now there's a halo around the computer, I don't know where it came from or why I'm seeing it . . . it looks like St. Elmo's Fire or something, maybe I'm about to get struck my lightning. Hopefully I will . . . I'm bored and that'd be a damn good story to tell . . .
Seeing as how the internet at home doesn't work, and I don't have a computer at school yet . . . my first few blogs shall be few and far between . . . try and contain your sorrow. More to come . . .
